It is very safe to assume that a majority of the U.S. population possesses some form of computer literacy. However, that assumption could not be farther from the truth. We all need to be knowledgable about the web in order to be effective business men and women.
Just as flowers need sunlight to grow; we need to know how to search the web in order for our business to grow and prosper. Many people are using the web to shop, communicate, pay bills, compare prices, and much more.
The blog is designed to help aid in searching the web, help with going from site to site, advertising your business on the web, and products that your business is producing.
There are many who are so computer savvy that they are able to create applications, blogs and even entire web pages without even being old enough to vote.
On the other hand, there are some who can't find the power button on a computer without technical support. That creates the need for a blog such as this, because of the many who are not aware of how to search the web for the information that they desire.

I know what you are talking about! My nephew is 17 and has been able to write code and such for years! My husband on the other hand just learned where the power button is last year or so

ReplyDeleteSo funny, but so accurate at the same time! the younger generation definitely has the edge on this computer age. It is actually the older generation who is "illiterate", concerning computers.
ReplyDeleteI am not a wiz at this...but I can say that I have improved greatly. So true!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much we rely on computers now.
ReplyDeleteI think my 11 year old daughter knows more about computers than I do....
ReplyDeleteThis is so true I don't think there is nothing we can't find, do or research on the web.
